Greetings Fellow Musicians and Singers! You may be hearing about the buzz and music magic we are creating at Casa De Vino's Wine Bar in St Augustine on Monday nights! That’s because in addition to the incredible Jam-ology house band, the area’s aspiring musicians and singers of all levels have been joining us for some awe inspiring jams every week!
And we want YOU to join us! It’s easy - all you have to do is sign up online beforehand - or show up and sign in before 7:30pm - SHARP! (Not flat ;-)) Anyone who doesn’t manage to do either of those things may not be able to sit in that night, but will be considered for one of the following weeks.
Here are the House Rules!
If you are a solo or duo act (or have your own band where use of our equipment is at our discretion) and do not need the house band to accompany you, you can simply sign up online or at the venue as described above. A member of our team will speak with you before you go on to make sure you are prepared and know what to expect. Remember, you are there to perform and our audience is very supportive of new and up and coming artists - respect them with your very best!
If you want the band to back you up (and who wouldn’t with that band!), you must provide the song names when you sign up, the key of the song and preferably charts (or something written down with chords and song structure - i.e., Intro, 2 verses/chorus/ etc.). If you do not provide these and come unprepared in any way, we may unfortunately have to postpone your performance until a later time when you are!
That’s It! The idea is to have fun and take advantage of the incredible opportunity Jam-ology and our good friends at Casa De Vino’s are offering our local artists. The crowd is getting bigger and better every week and while we strive to get everyone up on stage, we have a 2 song limit and we start with the first to sign up. If we get to the end of the night (We are on from 7 to 9:30pm with breaks) and don’t have time left, we’ll add you to one of the following weeks!
